According to Dallas authorities, 50-year-old Douglas Cook was found living with the rotting corpse of his mother approximately one week after he had allegedly beaten her to death.  As reported in this article:

Police discovered the fatally beaten body of Nora Lee Cook, 84, in her bedroom, Saturday after neighbors reported a foul odor coming from Cook’s home …

Douglas Cook, who had been arrested two years earlier for allegedly assaulting his mother, was charged with her murder.

It is probably just a matter of time before the mainstream media portrays this working class hero as a victim of a troubled youth.
