A Simple ‘I Quit’ Would Have Been Sufficient

Ever want to quit your job, but don’t know exactly how to express your intent to leave? How about this: First, load yourself up with a healthy dose of PCP. Next, obtain a loaded service revolver from your employer. Now, strip naked and begin firing at your co-workers. Oh yeah, shout “Al Qaida” a lot too.

Wait. Somebody already thought of that. Meet DC Special Police officer Donald Cardwell, who performed that brilliant maneuver in a Washington, D.C. impound lot. Cardwell now faces myriad drug and assault charges, and is scheduled to appear in court next week.
