In Lake Luzerne, NY, teenager Damion Mosher was wounded when a bullet that he was mashing with a hammer struck him in the abdomen. According to this RedOrbit report, the boy was attempting to collect the brass bullet casings to sell as scrap.
In an unrelated story, 10-month-old baby “Bubba” Ludwig was issued a gun permit after he received a 12-gauge Beretta shotgun as a gift from grandpa.
