Hey Michael Moore, let me introduce you to a real SiCKO for your next documentary on public health. You can call this one “My Big Fat Greek Wedding,” and it stars our latest douchebag, Andrew Speaker.
Mr. Speaker had met with health officials who advised him that he had a multi-drug resistant form of tuberculosis, and was not to travel. Despite such warnings, Mr. Speaker and his fiance Sarah Cooksey changed their Air France plane itinerary, and left for their European wedding and honeymoon two days early.
While in Rome, the couple had learned they were placed on a “no fly” list, passports had been flagged, and that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control were looking for them.
The 31-year-old Atlanta attorney then decides to lam it, booking a flight from Rome to Prague, and then onto Montreal, so that they could slip back into the U.S. while avoiding the “no fly” order placed upon them.
For added mystery, they’re now investigating the role that a Speaker relative may have played in this drama (get this – the father in law works for the CDC). Well, at least you’re sorry… think that’s enough?
