Jefferson Leaves Small Business Panel

Congressional representative William Jefferson (D-LA) sent a letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, advising her of his intent to step down from his only committee assignment, a position on the Small Business panel. This decision stems from Jefferson’s indictment Monday on 16 criminal counts, ranging from racketeering to money laundering. Read the full article here.
