In February, Sudanese man Charles Tombe was caught having sex with a goat. Local elders then ordered the man to pay a dowry of 15,000 dinars (about $50) and subsequently marry the goat. After only a few short months of marital bliss, Tombe’s goat-wife, “Rose,” dies after choking on a plastic bag while eating scraps.
