McCain and Obama At Ground Zero

Here is a short video clip from yesterday’s memorial at Ground Zero. Observe the actions of Cindy and Sen. John McCain, in comparison with those of Sen. Barack Obama and NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg:

Here, you can see that Cindy and John McCain knelt, and gently placed their roses on the memorial. In comparison, Obama and Bloomberg merely tossed their roses at  the memorial. While other bloggers have already jumped to dismiss this as a non-issue, I tend to disagree.

While I don’t believe that this was an intentional disrespectful maneuver on Obama’s part, it does seem to highlight Obama’s arrogance. Moreover, this highlights Obama’s inexperience… this is not how one behaves at a somber event that marks such a tragedy.

Sex Offender Poses As Child, Attends School

Here’s a douchebag to call an airstrike on:  30-year-old Neil Rodreick II of Phoenix, Arizona is a sex offender who posed as a 12-year-old-boy so that he could attend school with other children. According to police reports, Rodreick would shave and wear pancake makeup so that he would appear younger to the students and teachers.

Rodreick, who served 5 years in jail for the 1996 offense of propositioning a 6-year-old boy, will now spend more than 70 years in prison without parole. 

Rodreick was arrested in January 2007 when he tried to enroll in a charter school in Chino Valley as a seventh-grader. School officials became suspicious about his paperwork. At the time, he and convicted sex offender Brian Nelliis were living with Lonnie Stiffler, 61, and Robert J. Snow, 43, another convicted sex offender.

 

Arizona authorities said Rodreick conned Stiffler and Snow into believing he was a young boy, and that Stiffler pretended to be his grandfather when he tried to enroll him at the school.

Saudi Cleric Trumps The V-Chip

Yet again, Saudi Arabia proves that its call for social and judicial change is nothing more than rhetoric. In a statement that plunges the country into an even more archaic level of cencorship, Saleh al-Luhaidan, chief justice of Saudi Arabia’s supreme judicial council has issued a religious edict indicating that owners and operators of television networks that broadcast “depravation and debauchery” may be killed:

“The owners of these channels propagate depravation and debauchery,” said Saleh al-Luhaidan, chief justice of the supreme judicial council, the highest judicial authority in the ultra-conservative Saudi kingdom.

He made the remarks on radio in response to a caller who asked him to give an opinion on what he said were “immoral” programmes on Arab television during the holy Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, a source at Al-Arabiya said.

“It is lawful to kill … the apostles of depravation… if their evil cannot be easily removed through simple sanctions,” Luhaidan said, according to excerpt of the remarks broadcast on the Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya.

The situation is “serious … the degradation of morals is a form of perversion on earth,” he added.

Pam Anderson to Palin: Suck It!

Hollywood harlot Pamela Anderson, perhaps best known for her “work” in the infamous Pamela Anderson/Tommy Lee sex video, has opened her mouth once again… only this time, it wasn’t for sex. Rather, she decided to spit out a few choice words against VP hopeful Sarah Palin:

Anderson, 41, was recently in Toronto speaking out against the abuse of animals in Hollywood.

When asked by E! News Weekend Canada about Palin, she has some choice words for the Republican hopeful.

The reporter asked Pam if she saw a recent Newsweek article, which showed a gigantic bear hide in the office of Palin’s house.

“I can’t stand her,” Pam blurted out. “She can suck it!”
