Couric’s Coached Con

When Katie Couric needed help figuring out how to take the wind out of Sarah Palin’s sails, she turned to former Democrat Senator and Obama Secretary of Defense possibility Sam Nunn and Council on Foreign Relations president and anti-neocon Richard Haas for coaching on how to derail the McCain campaign.

“Couric shed some light on her preparation for the interviews: Beforehand, she sought advice from former senator Sam Nunn and Council on Foreign Relations president Richard Haas. They told her to draw Palin out on her geopolitical worldview and urged her to let the governor speak at length without interrupting her.
