Muslim TV Channel Founder Arrested For Beheading Wife

Muzzammil Hassan, founder and chief of the popular Bridges TV network, a Muslim channel carried by many US cable networks has been arrested in New York for beheading his wife:

 

Orchard Park police are investigating a particularly gruesome killing, the beheading of a woman, after her husband — an influential member of the local Muslim community — reported her death to police Thursday.

Police identified the victim as Aasiya Z. Hassan, 37. Detectives have charged her husband, Muzzammil Hassan, 44, with second-degree murder.

“He came to the police station at 6:20 p.m. [Thursday] and told us that she was dead,” Orchard Park Police Chief Andrew Benz said late this morning.

Muzzammil Hassan told police that his wife was at his business, Bridges TV, on Thorn Avenue in the village. Officers went to that location and discovered her body.

This last part is the best:

Muzzammil Hassan is the founder and chief executive officer of Bridges TV, which he launched in 2004, amid hopes that it would help portray Muslims in a more positive light.

Positive light indeed.

Pork Passes

Tolerate The Intolerant?

As observers of modern society, we’ve learned to expect nothing more than violence, intolerance, and hypocrisy from the self-proclaimed “religion of peace.” We’ve seen governments and judicial bodies alike ever-so-slowly buckling under the pressure continually applied by anti-Semitic muslim groups. 

The latest egregious incident of “tolerance” occurs at York University in Toronto:

Another anti-Semitic incident took place in a Canadian university Thursday when over 100 anti-Israel activists surrounded a campus building belonging to the Jewish student club ‘Hillel’ at York University, Toronto. The activists pounded on office doors while yelling out racial slurs.

Campus security was forced to alert police to restore order and the latter demanded that the offices be shut down.

Now to put this in perspective: An angry Muslim mob carries out a hate crime upon a Jewish center in Toronto. York Police order that the center be shut down, thus punishing the innocent while achieving the anti-Semitic goal of the mob. Canada seems to have borrowed this move directly from England’s playbook. 

The article continues:

Bert Camp, of York Police, said the case was being investigated by the hate crimes unit because the threatened student is a well-known pro-Israeli figure on campus. Camp said the threats were in all probability related to Israel’s offensive in Gaza.

All I can say is that we should watch this one closely. Do you think that any charges will actually be filed? Will any sanctions be levied for this hate crime? One thing is certain, we can expect to see similar incidents in the future — and we’ll be expected to be tolerant.

A Troubling Formula

I came across an interesting post from blogger Pascal Fervor titled “Not Rocket Science: Voter Fraud Institutionalized.” The formula is plain, simple, and definitely worth sharing:

Stimulus Package => $5 Billion to community groups => A.C.O.R.N. gets its share (thanks to A.C.O.R.N. friend Obama) => A.C.O.R.N. diverts much of that money to defend itself from voter fraud charges => A.C.O.R.N. outspends states’ attorneys and gets charges dropped => A.C.O.R.N. continues as before, undeterred, invigorated.

Even FactCheck.org, a website with indirect connections to A.C.O.R.N. through The Annenberg Foundation, cannot dispute the above formula. This may be seen from reading its answer to questions about A.C.O.R.N. receiving funds from the stimulus package.

The bill does include funds for which ACORN would be eligible to compete – against hundreds of other groups.

Right. Which would incline a fair and impartial judge to ask: “How many of those hundreds of other groups has a former member and grateful friend in the White House?”
 

Michael Moron Watch

 

It appears that our favorite douchebag documentarian Michael Moore is at it again, this time asking Wall Street insiders among others to share “the real deal” for an upcoming movie on the current financial crisis. 

 

In a letter posted on his website, Michael Moore writes:

I am in the middle of shooting my next movie and I am looking for a few brave people who work on Wall Street or in the financial industry to come forward and share with me what they know. Based on those who have already contacted me, I believe there are a number of you who know “the real deal” about the abuses that have been happening. You have information that the American people need to hear. I am humbly asking you for a moment of courage, to be a hero and help me expose the biggest swindle in American history.

Michelle Malkin puts it best:

I think it’s fairly safe to assume he won’t be grilling Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, Franklin Raines, Chris Dodd, Bill Clinton, or ACORN over their roles in creating the mess we are in now.

Screw You, Michael Phelps…

…and screw you liberal bloggers and facebook assholes that are joining that nauseating “Leave Phelps Alone” campaign. 

Let’s face it. Matt Michael Phelps is a douchebag that got caught smoking pot and deserves to be punished for smoking pot, along with all of the other douchebags that get caught smoking pot. Olympian, hero, dolphin, American icon… whatever. There can be no legal exemption in Phelps’ case. He made a mistake and has to pay for it like everyone else. 

I’m not going to offer my opinion on the legality of marijuana, or the punishment that often follows a marijuana arrest. I will, however, say that those who claim that Phelps “did nothing wrong” must have stayed underwater a little too long. After all, the douchebag smoked pot. 

Now I’m expected to join legions of liberal facebook idiots that want to give him a pass? I’m supposed to sympathesize with a kid who loses cherry endorsement gigs with Subway and Kelloggs because he’s a stoner? Eh. Screw You, Matt Michael Phelps.

Blagojevich Blames Chicago Corruption For Chicago Corruption

In an interesting, but not-at-all unexpected maneuver, former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich has chosen to blame his misfortune on his former political allies and colleagues. During a morning interview on Chicago’s The Don and Roma Morning Show, Blago announces:

[H]e wants to point out ‘the phoniness and hypocrisy’ of the politicians who run state government.

“A bunch of them are cheating on their spouses, a lot of them drink in excess, very few of them know what’s going on, they just take their marching orders from legislative leaders.”

Phoniness? Hypocrisy? Hi pot, meet kettle. Blagojevich continues, “I’ve got my crayons ready, I’m ready to write it. I’d like to tell those stories.” Could this be? We may have an unabridged encyclopedia of Chicago politics in our midst. Maybe we can envision a pleasing foreword written by George Ryan.

I look forwards to the likely hilarity that will ensue in the coming months. In one sense, I’d like to see such a book serve as a wake up call to all of the Chicago voters that continue to elect these corrupt, hypocritical idiots who overshadow the politics of an otherwise conservative state. 

From a practical standpoint, however, I expect to see nothing more than what we already know: Chicago politics is corrupt because it always has been. Each politician who claims to break the cycle of corruption and straighten up Chicago ends up being worse than the thieves who preceded them. This occurs over and over again in one huge comical cycle.

So Blagojevich, blame on! Let’s see what you got!

More Idiots Demand Bailout

College student Julio Osegueda stole the show at President Obama’s Fort Myers town hall Tuesday afternoon, just one day after attempting to sell tickets to the event on Facebook.

Osegueda enthusiastically asked Obama the final question of the event.

“It’s such a blessing to see you Mr. President, thank you for taking time out of your day!” Osegueda shouted. “Oh, gracious God, thank you so much!”

Osegueda, a 19-year-old student at Edison State College and a four-year employee at McDonald’s, asked Obama a question about employee benefits.

Obama graciously answered the question while many in the crowd laughed and some onlookers even took photos of Osegueda as he asked his question.

“You sound like you’ve got good communication skills,” Obama told the aspiring broadcaster/DJ, who is majoring in communications at Edison State College.

The Mayor With Pee Perks

 

Let it be said that Barack Obama is not the only one who is accompanied by a security contingent when he goes to the little president’s room:

 

SNELLVILLE, Ga. (AP) – Snellville politics have reached a low point. Jerry Oberholtzer, the mayor of the Atlanta suburb, has been asking for police escorts to the restroom in City Hall after a verbal altercation with city council member Robert Jenkins a few months ago. Oberholtzer says he no longer feels comfortable around Jenkins.

Jenkins says the mayor has no reason to worry for his physical safety and should only “fear me as a political opponent.” The mayor has even had police Chief Roy Whitehead escort him to the restroom.

 

Jenkins and Oberholtzer have butted heads for years. Last week, the mayor sent pictures of what he said are code violations at one of Jenkins’ properties to police. Authorities issued a warning to the councilman to clean up by March 1 or face jail time.
