Pimps Up, ACORN Down

For those of you who have been sharing a cave with Charlie Gibson this past week, ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) got itself in a little bit of trouble giving financial advice to James O’Keefe, 25, and Hannah Giles, 20, who posed as a pimp and his ho in its Baltimore, Washington and Brooklyn offices.

Now it looks like these allegations, combined with investigations into ACORN voter registration fraud, have forced the US government to pull their funding for the organization.  The organization has received $53 million from the American taxpayer since 1994, but with Obama in the white House, their exploitation of the American people was only just beginning…until now.

This is an opportunity for the United States Senate to stand up and say ‘Enough is enough’ just as the Census Bureau did,” said Republican Senator Mike Johanns, the measure’s sponsor.

The bill includes $165 million for housing-counseling programs and $4 billion to help poor communities weather the worst recession since the 1930s.

ACORN said the Senate’s action was disappointing but would have little impact on its overall operations.

That’s right, ACORN loses out on $4 BILLION and says that it won’t effect its operations.

“The only real victims of today’s vote are the families who have benefited from ACORN’s important work,” ACORN chief Bertha Lewis said in a statement posted on the group’s website.

So take a moment to think about those poor underage girls who won’t be trafficked from Latin America to turn tricks in ACORN-assisted, taxpayer-funded brothels.

Douchebag Democrat Done

Nine-term Democrat US Congressman and indicted douchebag William “Cold Cash” Jefferson lost his re-election bid on Saturday.

Republican challenger Anh “Joseph” Cao, an attorney and community organizer, defeated Jefferson in the 2nd Congressional district race. He will become the first Vietnamese-American elected to Congress.

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Cao had almost 50 percent of the vote to Jefferson’s 47 percent.

The 2nd Congressional district, in and around New Orleans, is mostly African-American and heavily Democratic, and Jefferson appeared to be favored to win re-election going into the election.

Jefferson has been in political hot water for the since his residences were raided in 2005.

Jefferson has pleaded not guilty to 16 criminal counts of racketeering, bribery, money laundering and obstruction of justice. He denies any wrongdoing.

In 2005, Jefferson’s private homes in Washington and New Orleans were raided, and FBI agents say they found $90,000 in cash stashed in one of his freezers.

Officials say the money was part of a payment in marked bills from an FBI informant in a transaction captured on videotape. Jefferson also is accused of soliciting and receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes for himself and his family in exchange for promoting their products and services to countries in Africa.

Elections in Lousiana’s 2nd and 4th districts were delayed after Hurricane Gustav hit the state in September.

3.Iraq

Immediately upon taking office, Obama will give his Secretary of Defense and military commanders a new mission in Iraq: ending the war. The removal of our troops will be responsible and phased, directed by military commanders on the ground and done in consultation with the Iraqi government. Military experts believe we can safely redeploy combat brigades from Iraq at a pace of 1 to 2 brigades a month that would remove them in 16 months. That would be the summer of 2010 – more than 7 years after the war began.

Big Three Douchebags Arrive In Corporate Jets To Panhandle In DC

Douchebag CEOs Rick Wagoner of GM, Alan Mulally of Ford and Robert Nardelli of Chrysler each flew to Washington, DC in corporate jets to beg Congress for a $25 billion bailout. Wagoner arrived in a $36 million aircraft to let Congress know that GM is losing $10-12 billion.  It’s estimated that the roundtrip flight to DC alone cost GM $20,000.

“This is a slap in the face of taxpayers,” said Tom Schatz, President of Citizens Against Government Waste. “To come to Washington on a corporate jet, and asking for a hand out is outrageous.”

Wagoner’s excesses are hardly alone.  Over at Ford, Alan Mulally has found a rather effective way to burn through Ford’s cash.

Ford CEO Mulally’s corporate jet is a perk included for both he and his wife as part of his employment contract along with a $28 million salary last year. Mulally actually lives in Seattle, not Detroit. The company jet takes him home and back on weekends.

Before Congress, Mulally was quick to point out the expenses he had cut in the past few years.

Mulally made his case Tuesday before the committee saying he’s cut expenses, laid-off workers and closed 17 plants.

“We have also reduced our work force by 51,000 employees in the past three years,” Mulally said.

Well, Mr. Mulally, how many autoworkers’ salaries are you burning through on jet fuel?

GM and Ford say that it is a corporate decision to have their CEOs fly on private jets and that is non-negotiable, even as the companies say they are running out of cash.

Well Detroit, do you know what is negotiable?  Whether you’re going to get a bailout.

Jeffrey P. Rosato: Pedophile Douchebag

Jeffrey Rosato, a senior aide to Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), was fired from his post last Friday, the same day he was arrested on charges of receiving and distributing child pornography.  He appeared in US District court on Wedneday in Alexandria, VA, but was released, on the condition that he stay away from children and computers.

According to an FBI affidavit, an unnamed person “distributed more than 600 files containing graphic images and movies of child pornography to an undercover detective that [the person] believed was a 13-year-old boy” over the course of more than 15 online chats during a three-week period in January. In that person’s computer, the FBI found information suggesting the person had exchanged pornography with Rosato.

Investigators also found pornographic photos and movies of children on Rosato’s laptop computer during a Nov. 4 search of his Alexandria home, according to the affidavit. “Many of the images and videos depict prepubescent boys engaged in sexual acts,” it said.

So that’s nice…

Rosato has retained criminal defense lawyer Patrick N. Anderson as his attorney. Anderson apparently specializes in defending sex criminals and terrorists.

If Rosato’s douchebag credentials were in any doubt, he started his work in the Senate working for certified douchebag Senator Robert “The Torch” Torricelli (D-NJ), who did not seek reelection when a campaign finance scandal tied him to a Chinese businessman with North Korean connections and was later caught using his campaign money to fund his post-Senate lobbying career.

In October, a Senate aide for Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA), James Michael McHaney was sentenced to 3 years for Federal charges of child porn possessions.

Perhaps these two “rippers” can be cellmates…

Steve Lipski Is A Douchebag

Two-term Democratic Jersey City councilman Steve Lipski urinated on a crowd of concertgoers around 9:50 pm Friday night. He was in Washington, DC watching a Grateful Dead tribute from a nightclub balcony when he decided to rock out with his cock out.

The 44 year-old has since sworn off alcohol.  No word if he has sworn off being a douchebag.
